About the Author
John H. Richards is one of the great-grandsons of Patrick “Patsy” Francis and Mary (Stack) Clark. The author served in the U.S. Army and Vietnam War, graduated from Eastern Washington University, and from Pacific Coast Banking School at University of Washington. Starting his career with the Old National Bank he was employed in the banking industry for 37 years with his last position as Vice President, Private Banking Senior Lending Officer for U.S. Bank. Active in leadership roles in non-profits during his career, he continues in retirement currently serving on the Spokane Club Endowment Foundation Board, and the Board of Trustees for Fairmount Memorial Association. He and his wife, Mary, are members of the Westerners’ Spokane Corral, and he is an avid tennis player. They have a daughter, Angela, married to her husband, Chris, and grandchildren, Britton and Mykenna.
